Perceptions
An Interactive Exploration of Identity and the Art of Seeing
How do societal norms influence how we see others?
Every face tells a story, but no two people see it the same way. "Perceptions" is an interactive art installation that invites the audience to explore the fragmented nature of identity and how others perceive us. Through this experience, participants confront the ways in which societal norms, personal biases, and individual creativity shape the faces we construct—not only of others but also of ourselves.
"Perceptions" challenges us to consider the interplay between self-image and how others perceive us. It reminds us that our identities are not fixed but fluid—constructed, deconstructed, and reassembled through the lenses of those around us. What we might consider flaws or distinguishing features may go unnoticed or be celebrated by someone else. The project highlights the universality of self-perception while questioning the rigid frameworks of gender and identity. By engaging with this installation, you’ve become part of this dialogue, exploring the art of seeing and being seen.
